Coastal Zen Residence — A Minimal Wood Retreat

This project explores a contemporary interpretation of Japanese-inspired coastal living through warm timber architecture, soft neutral textiles, and thoughtful spatial layering. The design emphasizes natural light, tactile materials, and seamless indoor–outdoor connections, creating a tranquil retreat that feels both modern and deeply rooted in nature. Custom slatted wood screens, sculptural lighting, and organic furniture forms shape a cohesive aesthetic across the bedroom, dining area, lounge, and bathroom, balancing simplicity with craftsmanship and comfort.
